With  25 years international experience, my portfolio encompasses private residential projects, mixed use, commercial and urban developments, public spaces and educational. Spanning from small to big scale projects, from high-end to energy efficient buildings, I am an all-round professional.

In London since 2014,  I worked with award winning firms and, believing that Design and Construction must never be separated, I like being the Design Manager working with renowned main contractors to offer a complete service to my selected clients, from design to construction.

I see that any built habitat as an organic system where everything is connected: structure, systems, interiors, furniture, materials, lights and colour are all interwoven with architecture. Therefore, I am always keen to  establish solid relationships with exceptional specialist in the industry, such as interior designers and manufacturer to work with on special projects.

Because of my passion for furniture design, I've built over the years a long standing collaboration with a joinery company to create bespoke pieces of joinery for my architectural projects and prototypes for the industry.

I am a pioneer in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM), I've been a BIM practitioner since 2001, I taught BIM at the University of Ferrara (Italy, 2007-2014),  I authored published books and articles about BIM,  I have been speaker at public events, and I developed expertise in 3D prototyping and CNC processes as part of my teaching .

Collaborating for years with Timber Construction companies, I became keen of Modern Method of Construction (MMC) as I believe that those methods are best suit to challenge the climate change and, where possible and opportune, they should be preferred to traditional methods.

My education at the University of Florence (Italy) gave me a particular sensibility towards historical environment and buildings and I collaborate with experts in the field of photogrammetry for projects on Listed Buildings and other relevant historical buildings.

Working with some of the greatest colour experts and colour designers, I have been lecturer in a series of conferences about the use of colour in architecture (Materia, Colore, Luce - Material, Colour, Light), I trained hundreds of professionals and edited a published book on this topic.
