The industrial style is about shaping interior spaces to resemble workshops or warehouses. A warehouse, however, is simply a large container—sometimes dedicated to a specific product, but often storing an eclectic mix of disparate objects.
The only true constant in a warehouse is variety.
A warehouse-like space does not require consistency in finishes, colors, or furniture. On the contrary, by definition, it embraces the widest (and wildest!) range of choices, reflecting the diverse tastes of its inhabitants.
This project embodies that concept—offering suggestions while giving the client the freedom to choose whatever they like, without being constrained by a rigid style.
The inspiration for the curved Corten panels comes from Richard Serra, whose The Matter of Time exhibition I had the opportunity to visit in Bilbao.
